กิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมไทย–อเมริกัน และคลินิกทักษะกีฬาซอฟต์บอล โดยทีม Athletes In Action Softball จากประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา
วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 2 กรกฎาคม 2569 โรงเรียนกาวิละวิทยาลัย ร่วมกับ Athletes in Action Thailand (TAIA) และฝ่ายกีฬาซอฟต์บอลและเบสบอล สมาคมกีฬาแห่งจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จัดกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมไทย–อเมริกัน พร้อมคลินิกทักษะกีฬาซอฟต์บอล โดยทีม Athletes In Action Softball จากประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านกีฬา การพัฒนาทักษะภาษาอังกฤษ และการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ในระดับนานาชาติให้กับนักเรียนห้องเรียนกีฬา ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย (ม.4/7 ม.5/7 และ ม.6/7) ณ โรงเรียนกาวิละวิทยาลัย
ภายในกิจกรรม นักเรียนได้รับการฝึกทักษะพื้นฐานกีฬาซอฟต์บอล ทั้งด้านการเคลื่อนไหว การรับ–ส่งลูก การตี และเทคนิคการเล่นที่ถูกต้อง จากโค้ชและนักกีฬาผู้มากประสบการณ์ชาวอเมริกัน ผ่านกิจกรรมที่เน้นการมีส่วนร่วมและการลงมือปฏิบัติจริง สร้างบรรยากาศการเรียนรู้ที่สนุกสนาน เป็นกันเอง และเต็มไปด้วยแรงบันดาลใจ
นอกจากนี้ นักเรียนยังได้ฝึกทักษะการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษกับเจ้าของภาษา ผ่านกิจกรรมกลุ่มและการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ด้านวัฒนธรรมไทย–อเมริกัน ซึ่งช่วยเสริมสร้างความมั่นใจในการใช้ภาษา การทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น และการเปิดมุมมองสู่สังคมโลก
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้นับเป็นโอกาสอันดีที่นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านกีฬาในระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมทั้งสร้างมิตรภาพและแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมอันดีงาม อันจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาศักยภาพของนักเรียนทั้งด้านกีฬา ภาษา และทักษะชีวิตในศตวรรษที่ 21

Thai–American Cultural Exchange and Softball Skills Clinic by the Athletes In Action Softball Team from the United StatesOn Thursday, July 2, 2026, Kawila Wittayalai School, in collaboration with Athletes in Action Thailand (TAIA) and the Softball and Baseball Division of the Chiang Mai Provincial Sports Association, organized a Thai–American Cultural Exchange and Softball Skills Clinic led by the Athletes In Action Softball Team from the United States. The program was designed to promote sports education, enhance English communication skills, and provide international cultural learning opportunities for students in the Sports Program (Grades 10/7, 11/7, and 12/7) at Kawila Wittayalai School.
During the clinic, students received hands-on instruction in the fundamentals of softball, including proper movement, throwing and catching techniques, batting skills, and game fundamentals from experienced American coaches and athletes. The interactive sessions encouraged active participation in a fun, friendly, and inspiring learning environment.
In addition to developing their athletic abilities, students had the opportunity to practice English communication with native speakers through group activities and cultural exchange sessions. These experiences helped build confidence in using English while fostering teamwork, intercultural understanding, and a global perspective.
The event provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn directly from international sports professionals while building friendships and strengthening cultural connections between Thailand and the United States. It also inspired students to pursue excellence in sports while developing essential life skills for the 21st century.
Kawila Wittayalai School extends its sincere appreciation to Athletes in Action Thailand (TAIA), the Softball and Baseball Division of the Chiang Mai Provincial Sports Association, and the Athletes In Action Softball Team from the United States for their generous support and dedication in providing this meaningful international learning experience. Their contribution made this event a great success and left a lasting impression on everyone involved.
