โรงเรียนกาวิละวิทยาลัย จัดกิจกรรมหล่อเทียนพรรษา สืบสานประเพณีอันดีงามทางพระพุทธศาสนา
วันนี้ (22 กรกฎาคม 2569) โรงเรียนกาวิละวิทยาลัย สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเชียงใหม่ ได้จัดกิจกรรม หล่อเทียนพรรษา เนื่องในโอกาสวันเข้าพรรษา ประจำปี 2569 ณ โรงเรียนกาวิละวิทยาลัย โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ดร.มานิตย์ ศรีพิทักษ์ อดีตผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนกาวิละวิทยาลัย เป็นประธานในพิธี โดยมี นายมงคล กาเหว่า ผู้อำนวยการสถานศึกษา พร้อมด้วยฝ่ายบริหาร คณะครู บุคลากรทางการศึกษา และนักเรียนโรงเรียนกาวิละวิทยาลัย เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง
กิจกรรมหล่อเทียนพรรษาจัดขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้และร่วมสืบสานขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีอันดีงามของไทย เนื่องในเทศกาลเข้าพรรษา อีกทั้งยังเป็นการปลูกฝังคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และความศรัทธาในพระพุทธศาสนา ตลอดจนสร้างความสามัคคี ความเสียสละ และจิตสำนึกในการอนุรักษ์ศิลปวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีไทยให้คงอยู่สืบไป
ภายในพิธี ดร.มานิตย์ ศรีพิทักษ์ ได้ประกอบพิธีหล่อเทียนพรรษาและร่วมหล่อเทียนพร้อมด้วยนายมงคล กาเหว่า ผู้อำนวยการสถานศึกษา ฝ่ายบริหาร คณะครู บุคลากรทางการศึกษา และนักเรียน ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่เปี่ยมด้วยความศรัทธา ความอบอุ่น และความร่วมมือของทุกภาคส่วน โดยทุกคนได้ร่วมกันหล่อเทียนพรรษาด้วยความตั้งใจ เพื่อเตรียมนำไปถวายพระภิกษุสงฆ์ในช่วงเทศกาลเข้าพรรษา อันเป็นการทำนุบำรุงพระพุทธศาสนาและสืบทอดประเพณีอันดีงามของไทย
การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ดำเนินไปด้วยความเรียบร้อยและบรรลุวัตถุประสงค์ตามที่กำหนดไว้ สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของโรงเรียนกาวิละวิทยาลัยในการส่งเสริมคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และปลูกฝังให้นักเรียนตระหนักถึงคุณค่าของพระพุทธศาสนา พร้อมทั้งร่วมอนุรักษ์และสืบสานวัฒนธรรมประเพณีไทยให้คงอยู่คู่สังคมไทยสืบไป
Kawila Wittayalai School Holds a Candle Casting Ceremony to Preserve Buddhist Traditions
On 22 July 2026, Kawila Wittayalai School, under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chiang Mai, organized a Buddhist Lent Candle Casting Ceremony in celebration of Buddhist Lent Day (Khao Phansa) 2026 at the school.
The ceremony was graciously presided over by Dr. Manit Sripitak, Former Director of Kawila Wittayalai School. He was joined by Mr. Mongkol Kawao, School Director, together with the administrative team, teachers, educational personnel, and students, all of whom participated wholeheartedly in the event.
The Candle Casting Ceremony was organized to encourage students to learn about and preserve Thailand’s rich cultural and religious heritage associated with Buddhist Lent. The activity also aimed to cultivate moral values, ethics, gratitude, and faith in Buddhism while fostering unity, selflessness, and a strong sense of responsibility for preserving Thai traditions and culture.
During the ceremony, Dr. Manit Sripitak officially presided over the candle casting ritual and joined Mr. Mongkol Kawao, the school administrators, teachers, staff, and students in casting the Buddhist Lent candle. The event was filled with an atmosphere of reverence, warmth, and cooperation, as participants worked together with dedication to create the candle, which will later be offered to Buddhist monks during the Buddhist Lent season as an act of merit and support for Buddhism.
The ceremony concluded successfully and achieved its intended objectives, reflecting Kawila Wittayalai School’s commitment to promoting moral values, ethical development, and appreciation of Buddhism among students, while preserving and passing on Thailand’s cherished cultural and religious traditions to future generations.
